They say, empty mind is a devil's worshop. Considering the kind of thoughts that enter the mind when it is idle, I can't help but wonder that devil must also be a manifestation of God himself. For it is when the mind is idle that we give the divine inspiration a chance to work its miracles. Introspection lets the mind be illuminated. It was one such moment of illumination that got me thinking about the relationship between love and freedom. It somehow dawned on me that these two are related by some inexplicable, intangible thread. Whether the relation is inverse or direct, well...it stands to reason. On the surface, it seems that love binds us, to people, to ideas, to perceptions. It leads us to believe in a certain image of ourselves, an image of us being a couple, of having a certain personna, projected to us through the eyes of the people we supposedly love. How then you might wonder, is it related to freedom? Human nature works in strange ways... it is only when one learns to respect the boundaries that one can break free from them! The people who respect their boundaries, whether it is in terms of their commitments, their relationships or their circumstances, are the most free people you'll come around. The ones who surrender in love shall receive the much coveted freedom. Freedom which is the ultimate goal of every living spirit on this planet. Salvation... nirvana, as they say. When you learn to love evrything about this universe and the laws of nature that govern it, you shall be free and will gain the power to bend those rules at your own will. You will fly to scale heights and walk on water. Impossible will become possible and will transend the stiflingly narrow limits of what we call reality.
